Experience the Solar Eclipse with a fruit tasting!

In collaboration with Polaris Lleure, on August 12, 2026 , we will experience an exceptional astronomical event: the first total solar eclipse visible in Spain since 1905. In Lleida, the eclipse can be followed between 7:45 p.m. and 9:05 p.m. , with the moment of maximum occultation expected around 8:30 p.m.

During the activity, we will project the image of the eclipse on a giant screen and explain in an informative and understandable way how this unique phenomenon occurs. To guarantee a completely safe observation, all participants will have approved glasses for solar observation, included in the activity , following the recommended safety measures at all times.

The day will continue with a night observation session from 10:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. , coinciding with the period of maximum activity of the popular Tears of Saint Lawrence (Perseids) . Through observation with the naked eye and with a telescope, we…
